I had helped Emelyn sort the gifts for the boys in the Jimmy dorms and found them all lifting their new backpacks to make sure they were all the same weight. We will reconvene January 16th. Earlier this week I was praying out loud for things that we need including ESL curriculum. The State of Georgia has been great to offer us whatever we need and I do have a list of instructional and study materials that I have given them, but I have felt like something is missing. Many speak it incredibly well. We giggled when a girl asked us if the word "friends" is pronounced "friends" or "fraaaands", as we must have said it with our Southern accents. On Saturday we went to an elderly center. It is this beautiful facility in El Torno, outside of Santa Cruz. The elderly can come here and gather and have a free meal and medical care.They gather to sing and worship and be together.  They want to build dormitory style facilities for them to come and live. Most are indigenous Quechua. They are such a beautiful people. I got to go around site seeing some yesterday! We saw Penguins at Boulder Beach, drove through Chapman's Peak, went to Hout Bay, through Simon's Town and to Groot Constantia for lunch. type='text'>Sweet Home Farm</title><summary type='text'>yesterday i went to Sweet Home Farm. quite nothing like what it sounds. it's name makes it sound like an organic bakery or a new plot at Serenbe. but it is an incredibly poor settlement where The Warehouse has become involved. they helped a woman named Christina open a restaurant. simple, basic, tiny little place, with the best fried bread sandwiches i have ever eaten. they are called amagwinyas.</summary><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml'
